Distributing motor products since 1993 the Stafford operation currently trades with over 2,000 brokers across the UK. The team literally deal with brokers of all shapes and sizes including specialists and affinity led through to broad commercial brokers and specialist personal lines.
Technology and speed of service to brokers is fundamental in the delivery but not at the compromise of quality nor access to underwriters with decision making authority.
At a wider development level the Stafford team have an extensive broker database – currently in excess of 3,000 brokers. Although not all of those offices still actively trade with Stafford the database is kept up to date for potential initiatives in the future.
Minibus business continues as the specialist mainstay of the motor portfolio, all offering optional AA cover and Uninsured Loss Recovery with the core sectors including:
- Private hire
- Education
- Charity
- Nursing homes
- Family use
- Broader commercial use
New opportunities are being developed and recently further initiatives have now been commissioned for:
- Taxi specialists
- Chauffeur driven
- Childminders
- Motorhomes
The team are well placed to review further motor opportunities.
Small fleet business
A particular new growth area has been to develop small fleet business. An area which, in the past, has not been actively developed.
This is a further complement to the wider National motor offering as we can now offer a breadth of fleet insurance options.
